Duty & Taxes

Purchases with delivery outside of Canada are not subject to Canada taxes. Generally gifts totally less than $100.00 US are not subject to duty, taxes or brokerage fees, however this is subject to change without notice.  Duties, taxes & borkerage fees will apply to orders over $100.00 US when they enter into the Unites States of America from Canada. These amounts vary and we are not notified of these amounts prior to dispatch; therefore they become the sole responsibility of the customer/recipient.

 Dispatch Information

All orders received by 3pm EST will be dispatched the next business day, whenever possible orders are dispatches on the day of receipt. If for any reason this standard can not be met, the order will be dispatched on the next
business day.

All orders are shipped via Canada Post / U.S.P.S. / FedEx

For your convenience we use Canada Post's Expedited Service, which includes a tracking number for each shipment.

US orders - visit www.fedex.com or www.usps.com

 Return Policy

At Amarolia & Company, we stand behind our products 100%. If, for any reason, you or your gift recipient is not completely satisfied, please contact us and we will make it right with an easy merchandise exchange or refund.

Returns simplified. If your selection does not meet your needs, we will gladly accept returns or exchanges of products in original brand new condition, including original product tags and packaging, within 30 days of the ship date (or 30 days after gift event for gifts). Please note the following exceptions and clarifications:

Perishable, monogrammed & personalized gifts as well as final sale items are not eligible for exchange or refund. Additionally, we are unable to refund our signature gift box charges and cannot accept them as a return.

The process.

IMPORTANT. You must obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER before returning any item(s).

Why do I need a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER? We use the RA # to track & identify the order return in transit and in our warehouse.

A refund will not be processed without an RA #.

How do I get an RA# ? Simply call us at 905.696.9317 or 416.722.7486 or use the contact form below.

Please clearly state:

  1. Your Name & Email Address
  2. Your Order Number
  3. The Reason For The Return
  4. Your Preferred Resolution (exchange/substitution or refund)

A customer service agent will contact you within 24 hours with the RA# and procedure for returning the item.

Every item that ships from our warehouse is inspected for order accuracy and quality.

Returning Procedure:

  1. If the return is due to our error (eg. wrong product, defective product), we will arrange the shipment return and replace the item at our expense.
  2. If the return is due to the customer's error (eg. ordered incorrect product or quantity), we will arrange the return shipment and process an exchange or refund.
    A 15% restocking fee and $10.00 Cdn package return fee will apply.
    Customer will be responsible for any new shipping charges.
